Building on this solid foundation, Novatron is now introducing Xsite® REWISE, a new independent infrastructure software designed for international markets. Both products are developed as standalone applications and operate without any dependency on external CAD platforms – just like how the users prefer.

The Xsite DRILL drilling and hole navigation system developed for Novatron’s surface drilling equipment gains new features in version 2.13. The version offers new interfaces for different machine types and enables measurement during drilling.

MOBA Mobile Automation AG has sold its stake in Finnish company Novatron Oy to investor Mandatum Asset Management. The transaction takes effect on December 23, 2025. With this step, Novatron returns to fully Nordic ownership and enforces its presence and position as a machine control manufacturer in the Nordic market. As part of the same transaction, MOBA AG’s Swedish subsidiary MOBA Sweden AB, focusing on the distribution and service of Xsite products, will also be transferred to Novatron.

Novatron Oy has acquired MOBA Sweden AB, which will now become part of the Novatron Group under the name Novatron Sweden AB. The acquisition marks a strategically important investment in the Nordic market and opens new opportunities for development, innovation, and long-term stability for both customers and employees.

The growth story of Finnish technology company Novatron is gaining new momentum with an investment from Mandatum Asset Management’s Growth Equity II fund. The investment supports the company’s international expansion and commercialization of innovations in infrastructure construction automation.

Construction machinery manufacturers in the VDMA and construction companies in the HDB founded the MiC 4.0 working group as a cooperation project in 2019. Its aim is to develop standardized, manufacturer-independent and machine-independent digital communication for all aspects of the construction process. Novatron joined VDMA and MiC 4.0 working group as a member in 2025 and is the first to achieve manufacturer-independent communication between an attachment and a work machine using its excavator control system.
