Learn more about R&D projects Press Release Novatron’s Machine Control System supports excavator rotator attachments according to MiC 4.0 BUS protocol First in the Industry 27.10.2025 Construction machinery manufacturers in the VDMA and construction companies in the HDB founded the MiC 4.0 working group as a cooperation project in 2019. Its aim is to develop standardized, manufacturer-independent and machine-independent digital communication for all aspects of the construction process. Novatron joined VDMA and MiC 4.0 working group as a member in 2025 and is the first to achieve manufacturer-independent communication between an attachment and a work machine using its excavator control system.
